Michigan Burn 2018 Club Training

 

This new program at Michigan Burn Soccer is designed to give all our players additional training and opportunities to improve their individual technical abilities. Club Training will be offered in 4 sessions throughout the season. The session will consist of:

 

  • 30 Minutes of Speed, Agility Quickness (SAQ) Training

  • 30 Minutes of Individual Soccer Specific Activities 

  •  

All Michigan Burn Soccer players are encouraged to attend. There is no cost for Club Training. 

 

Speed Agility Quickness (SAQ) 

SAQ will help players become quicker, faster, and stronger. The objective of this part of the training program will be to improve player's motor skills, the control of body movements through the development of the neuromuscular system. It  also aims to improve the athlete’s ability to perform explosive multi-directional movements by reprogramming the neuromuscular system to work effectively. 

 

Individual Soccer Specific Activities

The technical side of our club training will focus on each players individual development. We will train to improve players dribbling, 1v1, 2v2, passing, receiving, shooting and decision making abilities. Players will work together based on age and level of experience. We anticipate all players training and developing in a fun environment that will be staged with intensity, discipline and concentration.

Our Michigan Burn Coaching Staff and SAQ Group will be running each session. 

Club Training Dates: Sept 21st, October 12th, October 26th, November 2nd

  • U8 thru U10, 5-6 pm

  • U11 and U12, 6:15-7:15 pm

  • U13 and Older, 7:30 - 8:30 pm
