The Michigan Burn is one of only 2 Michigan Clubs Chosen for the newly formed Select Club National League (SCNL). The SCNL is a new National Competition Platform for soccer players that is based in Las Vegas, Nevada that provides an innovative program for player development and promotion. Michigan Burn teams will have the opportunity to compete in SCNL Regional and National tournaments and showcases in addition to our traditional state and national league play. 

Tryouts are open to Michigan Burn players and all other Michigan Club players. 

The league will allow for a higher level of competition with maximum exposure to college coaches as well as allowing for high school sports experience for student athletes. 

The SCNL will offer regional and national [competitions] for boys and girls teams ages U13 to U19.  All regional and national competitions will be played during the nation’s leading showcase events and member club tournaments. This will reduce demand on travel and provide maximum exposure to college coaches and scouts with every game becoming a scouting opportunity for players.

Player Recognition and Promotion:

• SCNL will provide one of the best player profile platforms and a dedicated program assisting players with college recruiting
• Limited Travel and Cost
• All Showcase events affiliated with the SCNL will play their games on the main fields where the majority of the college coaches will be stationed. Many times in a larger event, you are sent to various fields with maybe a handful of coaches or none at all. SCNL teams are guaranteed the main fields.
• July 2021 Michigan Burn is attending the Chicago International Showcase which is run by an SCNL member. Every year around 200 college coaches attend. This is one of those events it's good to be on the main fields where most of the colleges will be.
